Yesterday (May 9) was the 5th annual Beardsley Cider Mill Mode A & T Car Show. I first heard about it about 2 years ago, and heard it was a really good time. I tried to go to it for the last two years but have not been able to for one reason or another. This year, I was finally able to go, and I was fortunate enough to be able to take my car! It took me about 2 hours to get there (staying off highways). I got a nice scenic tour of Connecticut and drove through some beautiful towns. The car ran beautifully, and everyone was very excited to see the car as I drove past. The only person that seemed irritated to be behind me was a cop (ironically enough!). He didn't have his lights on, but was just bearing down my bumper on a few backroads. I was doing the speed limit (30 mph), and it was a tight, residential road, so I didn't feel bad that he was "stuck" behind me.
Take a look through the pictures! There were cars there all the way back to the early (and I mean early) 1900's.
